                                    ...a new lease on LIFE!...

Today, April 19th, 2013....Katie received a new lease on LIFE....with a kidney donation from her
"ANGEL"....Jackie!As I entered her room for the 1st time after receiving her kidney, an emotional, teary eyed mother and daughter locked eyes as she exclaimed, "even with the pain, I feel....so, so, so
so, so, so GOOD!I can't even put into words how good I feel!  I feel like I have a new body!...even my skin feels new!  I feel like I could leap into the air and just keep running, and running, and running!...."
What a Great Day!!  What a confirmation I feel of the great love Heavenly Father  has for each one of us!  How it has been confirmed to me that he Knows each one of us and is mindful of us!  On this Journey I have learned that we cannot have Faith and Fear at the same time.  On this Journey I have learned that things don't necessarily happen in the time frame that we want.  I have learned that things unfold as they are suppose to ...I have relearned that Heavenly Father is alll knowing and wise in his orchestration.  I have relearned that Prayer is Powerful!  that there is Strength in Many Numbers!  ..so grateful to the many prayers offered in Katie and her little families behalf as well as those for Jackie and her family. and ..things really are... Already Alright ...thru his eyes....and ours...as we continue to learn and grow.  My Heart is Full today!  I have so much gratitude to so many and to my Heavenly Father!  Sometimes life is not easy...but I still am able  to find........
                                                                  JOY in this JOURNEY!!!

LIFE....

"LIFE....is not a race,....it is a JOURNEY,....ENJOY the MOMENT!!....

Enjoyed conference this morning while cleaning my blinds.  Am looking forward to being at  the Converence Center for the Sunday morning session with Carlie and Zachary.  We will be able to sit down in the very front section. I hope this will be a special time for them.  I hope they will remember it when they are older.  When I was about 12, I remember my Aunt Marva taking us to conference.  At that time it was still held in the Tabernacle, AND they still passed the sacrament there.  After conference ended, we would go out the west door and wait for the Prophet to exit.  At that time, it was David O. McKay.  As we saw him walk pass and get into his limo, the crowd of people would join in singing 'We Thank Thee Oh God For A Prophet'....just a 'moment in memory'....

WE ARE ALL TRAVELERS....

We are all travelers HERE,...where we are, in this place.  As we travel TOGETHER, throughout LIFE we seem to learn from EACH OTHER.  We LEARN to VALUE our sameness...AND...our differences and the UNIQUENESS  that each of us is.  President Monson has ALWAYS been one of my favorite speakers,..from the time I was young.  To my recollection, he always spoke something of the service he gave. He is Prophet now, and still his message is of SERVICE TO ONE ANOTHER. Interesting enough... this earth...with all of the many calamities happening, has provided the MANY with opportunities to GIVE and to SERVE throughout the world.  In every corner, wealthy or poor, famous or obscure, I read and hear of SERVICE.  A coincidence of our time?  I, myself, don't think so. President Eyring said, "I can tell you something of what lies ahead for you.  ...you will find yourself invited by the Lord often to serve someone in need when it will not seem convenient."......... I am reminded how blessed I have been by others..byYOU!...and all your gifts of service in my behalf.... Jesus stood before the multitude  when it was evening, when the desciples suggested the people go home to eat.  The desciple found the boy with the 5 loaves and two fish. Jesus took these and gave thanks and blessed the food.  Then he gave the loaves to his disciples to take to the multitude...and everyone ate and was filled. And there was some to spare. When we give what we can, Christ will take it and bless it and magnify it and pass it...and still there will be some to spare.  HE will ALWAYS MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE!....as a fellow traveler, this is what I've learned as I continue on my journey.
